The partnership agreement encompasses the provision of the MarkLogic database platform to be used by customers of the STAR Group, including global automotive groups and commercial vehicle, as well as companies from the manufacturing industry and plant engineering.
For the creation and maintenance processes, the STAR Group is implementing a central terminology management solution with a web-based workflow based on WebTerm 7 and STAR CLM. In close cooperation with an expert group made up of representatives of car manufacturers and authorized third parties, the STAR Group is taking responsibility for providing the initial stock of data for publication in the relevant languages.
The STAR Group has now released Service Pack 9 for the translation memory system Transit NXT, with over 80 new functions and improvements to existing features. This new release is available free of charge.
