Brussels, Belgium – 20 September 2017 – The European Language Industry Association (Elia) and the Association of Language Companies (ALC) are pleased to announce their association partnership. Elia and ALC recognise one another as organisations with similar missions to promote the professionalism of the language industry and the business success of their members through professional development, advocacy and community.
Both ALC and Elia look forward to the mutual benefits for each associations’ members, including member rates for one another’s conferences and events.
ALC president Chris Carter notes: “ALC and Elia have had a cooperative relationship for years. This agreement is a commitment to all of our members to grow that relationship even more.”
Lara Millmow, Elia managing director, comments: “We’ve always viewed the relationship with ALC as extremely special and we owe a large part of our early success to ALC. The Elia Association Partner programme has reaffirmed and strengthened this connection between the two associations, and we are excited about what we can do together to provide additional benefits to our respective memberships.”
