Elia Welcomes New Senior Events Manager

Elia is pleased to welcome Rosemary Oduor as Elia’s new Senior Events Manager with immediate effect.

At Elia, Rosemary’s key responsibility will be to deliver events that provide value to language service companies to support their business growth and development.

Rosemary joins Elia after more than eight years of experience in the meeting and event industry, where she has successfully organised conferences and events with major international hotel chains and worked as an Event Manager with reputable professional congress organisers in France and Belgium. She honed her skills managing events, meetings and conferences within hotels including Starwood Hotels & Resorts, one of the world’s leading hotel companies.

Lara Millmow, Elia Managing Director, commented: “Rosemary possesses a wonderful combination of invaluable skills from her many years managing events and a great personality that reflects the Elia spirit. She also has a deep understanding of what Elia is here to do: bring value to our members’ companies. Rosemary will be an asset to Elia and we are very lucky to have her on board as we continue on our path to establish Elia as the premier association for the European language services industry.

Rosemary added: “Coming to work at Elia made me feel different. The strong values and the warmth of all the team members perfectly matched what is important to me: long-lasting relationships, a passion for customer service and dedicated work ethic in order to provide the best results. I felt immediately at ease, like I had just come home!
