July 2021 — GLOBO, a leading provider of technology and services in the language industry, has announced the hiring of Dipak Patel as its President and Chief Operating Officer.
Patel brings 20+ years of experience in the healthtech, consulting and private equity space to the language technology and solutions company’s executive team.
Seasoned across several healthcare industries, Patel’s initial focus will be on identifying and prioritizing opportunities to accelerate GLOBO’s growth. In addition to his passion for optimization and growth strategy, Patel has served as a board member for Make-A-Wish Illinois for over six years.
“What attracted me to GLOBO is the ability to directly improve the experiences for both the limited-English proficient population, as well as interpreters and translators,” Patel said. “As we move toward the future, technology will continue to play a pivotal role in the industry. Language support delivered with empathy will be viewed as a vital service in the optimization of experiences for limited-English speakers, especially in healthcare.”
Patel added, “I’m looking forward to championing GLOBO’s position as the number one company for top talent in the industry.”
“Dipak has a long track record of bringing innovative solutions to organizations in service of accelerated, sustainable growth,” said Gene Schriver, CEO and founder of GLOBO. “His experience and enthusiasm are a great match for us; we’re excited to have him on the team.”
