Grab Early Bird Tickets for Together 2020 To Be Held in Milan, Italy on 27-28 February

Now in its fifth year, Together is an annual two-day event from Elia, the European Language Industry Association, where language service companies and independent professionals convene for open dialogue on industry trends, to learn mutually-relevant new approaches, to update technical skills and, ultimately, develop lasting relationships to serve our end clients better. Most importantly, it’s a friendly, collaborative environment in which to develop lasting relationships.

The theme for Together 2020 is —most appropriately— Better Together and will feature two tracks:

Best Practice for Freelancers and LSPs Looking Ahead: Trends and Tools

In addition to the above Together 2020 will be bringing back the ever-popular Together Fair – the place for language professionals and language service companies to meet face-to-face. The fair gives you the opportunity to bond over specialities that your company is looking for and the skills that you, as a freelance translator, possess.

As with all Elia events, there will be ample opportunities for networking on the agenda.

Diego Cresceri, Event Chair & Programme Committee Co-Chair Committee Chair, comments: “The relationship between companies and the freelance community is key, and our intention with Together is to provide the foundation on which long-term, positive working relationships in the industry are based.”

For those of you who are unable to join Together in Milan, Elia and ProZ.com will once again join forces and bring Together to a wider online audience, enabling more translation professionals to benefit from Elia’s best-in-class content for the benefit of the industry as a whole.

“Serving the world’s largest community of translators, ProZ.com is positioned to bring the world-class content that is Elia Together to a large online audience,” said Drew MacFadyen, ProZ.com’s VP of Sales. “This is in line with ProZ.com’s function of providing translators with tools and opportunities to improve their work, while providing speakers and language industry-leading content experts with opportunities to reach a large global audience”.

So, why wait? Reserve your place to be at the most fashionable language event of 2020, and if you register before the 7th February you can still take advantage of the early bird rates!
