The data explosion in eDiscovery and the emergence of ESI has changed the landscape for legal professionals when it comes to collecting, securing, managing and reviewing information. Iconic’s new eDiscovery MT application enables a more streamlined foreign language document review process with real-time language translation. With more than 50 languages, and over 2,000 language combinations supported, Iconic’s specialist solution simplifies international eDiscovery, empowering users to find the most relevant documents in their own language.
Enhanced search, as well as intelligent analysis and review, is enabled on both a document and collection level by linguistic features including document classification, data summarisation, automatic language detection, and key term and named entity identification, among others.
The solution offers unparalleled flexibility in its ability to process large volumes of data hundreds of times faster than traditional approaches. Key data formats are supported, including office documents, PDF files, emails, and images, ensuring users can focus on the task at hand without worrying about data compatibility. The translation service is accessible through Iconic’s own online translation portal, on-premise server solutions, or third-party application connectors.
Critically aware of the importance of data confidentiality in eDiscovery, Iconic safeguards sensitive data in its software, allowing users to benefit from absolute information security. This includes private cloud-based deployments with 256-bit SSL encryption, or secure on-premise installations, behind firewalls where necessary, which ensure that data never leaves the user’s network.
Iconic plans to launch a connector for the Relativity platform in the coming months. The connector will provide users of Relativity with seamless integration and access to Iconic’s MT services and enhanced foreign language document processing and search.
