Berkeley, California, Dec. 3, 2018 — Intento (https://inten.to) has published its plugins to two popular Computer-Assisted Translation platforms, MemoQ (https://bit.ly/intento_memoq) and SDL Trados (https://bit.ly/intento_trados).
Intento MT API middleware provides a simple and elegant API to 20+ Machine Translation systems, including the latest NMT systems, such as Amazon Translate, Google AutoML, Microsoft Custom Translator, and ModernMT.
With the new plugins, all those MT systems are available to users of MemoQ and SDL Trados who have registered with Intento and installed the plugins.
“Due to the diversity and complexity of Machine Translation APIs, new MT engines tend to become available to CAT users much later than to the API users,“ said Konstantin Savenkov, CEO and co-founder of Intento. “We believe that the universal connectors like we just published may fix that, as indeed there’s no point for every CAT tool to implement the same API integrations.”
The plugins and documentation are available for download at the following links: MemoQ Plugin, SDL Trados Plugin. To use the plugins, one needs to sign up and have a commercial access to the Intento API.
