The Senior Manager – Quality Assurance (Translation) will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of translation by creating and enforcing an innovative quality strategy that includes: recruitment, testing and feedback for new and existing Chinese translators, evaluation of Clients’ feedback and complaints, application of technology innovations, and workflows for complex projects.
He or she will work closely with the Project Management team to ensure that only suitably competent translators are recruited, and the existing team of translators is returning work to Clients that is of the highest quality in order to retain and grow Client revenues. When needed, he or she will also assist the Operations team members with ad hoc translation, editing and proof- reading requests.
The successful candidate will need to work independently and demonstrate good organization, communication and project management skills. He or she will have a degree in translation and at least six years’ experience in translation and quality assurance. He or she must be highly skilled in CAT tools, as well as in translation of English to Traditional and Simplified Chinese (and vice versa).
