Lingo24 is pleased to announce they’ve gained ISO ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Information Security Management certification, following a September audit by TUV Rheinland.
The ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standard provides requirements for an Information Security Management System (ISMS). Following these standards allows organisations to manage the security of assets such as financial information, intellectual property, employee details or information entrusted by third parties.
“Our clients trust us with their data. Having robust mechanisms in place to ensure it’s handled with strict confidentiality has always been of paramount importance at Lingo24. ISO/IEC 27001:2013 is the gold standard for security in Information Technology organisations. Achieving this formal certification felt like the next logical step for us as we continue to support our global clients as they scale internationally,” explained Lingo24 CEO, Andrew Campbell.
Achieving ISO/IEC 27001:2013 sees Lingo24 become a triple ISO-certified translation and localization partner. Their other certifications include: ISO 17100:2015 for Translation Services and ISO 9001:2015 for the Quality Management of businesses. Together, these are the three key standards for an enterprise translation company.
