Locaria announces a third key hire in 2018 with the addition of Gunilla Huddleston to its growing team as Marketing Director.
Bringing with her a rich marketing background and a wealth of experience at Language Connect, Gunilla is another senior addition to Locaria, who will oversee new marketing strategies to further share the Performance Linguistics proposition with a wider audience.
“Differentiation is absolutely critical to accelerate growth in the LSP sector. I am excited by Locaria’s unique proposition for data-driven language services and strong alignment to the wider opportunities within global digital marketing.”, Huddleston commented.
The company, headquartered in London, sits within The Stagwell Group and was created to address the shortfall in digital marketing performance that sub-optimal translation practices were causing. Leveraging their access to search engine data, processes for multilingual keyword research were built, ensuring consistency and relevancy between website and marketing content. This delivered exceptional returns for online advertisers expanding into international markets, leading to brands such as hotels.com, Autodesk, IG, Graff, Harris and NRG seeking out their services.
Locaria’s COO, Lindsay Hong, commented “I am proud of the growth achieved by Locaria so far almost exclusively from referrals and inbound enquiries, and am excited to begin to share our proposition more widely. Gunilla’s experience in a high-growth LSP will be instrumental in this new endeavour. Locaria is driving exceptional customer intimacy for our clients by approaching digital content creation from a new angle. It’s an exciting story to tell, for which Gunilla’s enthusiasm is tangible.”
