Kristen Giovanis Named United Language Group Chief Executive Officer

Giovanis previously served as the organization’s president and has been pivotal to ULG’s continued growth and success, providing strategic leadership to foster development and innovation.

Minneapolis, MN, USA (June 21, 2018) – Kristen Giovanis has been named United Language Group’s (ULG’s) Chief Executive Officer after serving as the organization’s President since 2016.

Giovanis has been an essential part of the ULG team since its formation in 2016, utilizing her 20 years of experience in the language services industry to provide innovation-focused leadership and make strategic acquisitions and technology investments that continue to position ULG on an upward trajectory.

“Working with the ULG team has been an incredible experience, and I am honored to serve as this organization’s CEO,” said Giovanis. “ULG challenges the status quo and seeks to change the conversation in the language industry by strategically combining people, processes and technology to deliver innovative language solutions to organizations around the globe.”

Giovanis co-founded KJ International, a niche language services organization, in 1994 after recognizing an evolution in global trade and language requirements due to compliance regulations and standardization in safety. Her unique ability to spot industry trends and envision the future coupled with the drive to push industry boundaries and the strong leadership skills to successfully motivate teams is now propelling ULG’s disruption of the language services industry.

KJ International was acquired by ULG in 2016.

“Kristen is a visionary with a proven track record as a language solutions leader,” said Chairman of the Board of ULG, Doug Bergeron. “Under her leadership, ULG has expanded its vision to combine innovative technology with people-based solutions, profitably grown the business and built its reputation as one of the most innovative global language solutions partners in the world.”

Under Giovanis’ leadership, ULG has become a major player in the language services industry, providing translation, localization and interpretation services to more than 3,000 global clients.

About United Language Group: United Language Group (ULG) is one of the largest Language Solutions Providers in the world, providing smart, seamless and secure language solutions that help businesses win in the global marketplace. ULG envisions a world in which language is no longer a barrier, and helps global clients turn language translation and interpreting into a competitive advantage.
