Management Restructuring at Kilgray

In order to further support future expansion and growth Kilgray has executed management changes.

Budapest (Hungary) 25 August, 2016 – Kilgray Translation Technologies has been growing well over the expectations in the past years; revenues, client figures as well as staff growth indicate that the company has now become an established and exponentially growing actor of the global translation technology landscape.

In line with the emerging global challenges, the Board of Kilgray has been extended, and has made some planned changes in the leadership of the company. In order to effectively support Kilgray’s steady development to successfully tackle the challenges of future global growth, the Board has appointed Norbert Oroszi, the previous Head of Production to be Chief Executive Officer. Previous CEO István Lengyel will remain and carry on supporting the company as a major shareholder. István will now take some rest after the intense and exhaustive efforts of the past 12 years that have launched Kilgray on the track of this impressive expansion largely under his leadership.

In order to provide more insight and to be able to exploit exciting new approaches for Kilgray and its flagship product memoQ, the Board has also welcomed new Members. The CEO will be supported by industry veterans Balázs Kis, Gábor Ugray and Peter Reynolds shareholders. Florian Sachse – previous Managing Director and Development Manager of SDL Passolo, now Kilgray’s Head of Development – has also joined the Board to further Kilgray’s successful transfer to become the leading global technology provider.

The strengthened leadership of the company and the extensive work of the past years have laid the foundations of the continuing success of Kilgray Translation Technologies. Kilgray will carry on upholding its values and will remain to be what it has been: the friendliest and most comprehensive provider of translation technology in the market with a unique focus on the most valuable asset of the company — the user.
