XTM International Sponsors Women in Localization

London, November 11, 2020 – XTM International, developers of the enterprise translation management system XTM Cloud, is delighted to be a silver sponsor of Women in Localization (W.L.), the leading professional organization for women in the localization industry.

This is part of XTM International’s commitment to create a more supportive and inclusive environment for women in the localization industry. XTM International has been an avid supporter of Women in Localization initiatives by sponsoring global community events, participants in W.L. events and individuals who are members.

Elizabeth Butters, Business Development Manager at XTM International and W.L. Global Engagement Manager and UK Sponsorship Manager said, “I’m honoured to be part of such a great and empowering community that never ceases to inspire me. Since joining the organization, I’ve been involved in many UK chapter events which aim to educate, support, and empower localization professionals, bridging the gap for students to enter the localization industry. I enjoy sharing my skills and experience with students and giving back what I’ve learned throughout my career. XTM International has been immensely supportive, enabling me to grow professionally and personally within the community.”

XTM International sees this collaboration as a way to further accelerate the professional and personal growth of women in the workplace.

“We are extremely proud to support an organization that works tirelessly to help women thrive and move up the career ladder in the industry. Empowering and mentoring individuals to develop strong leadership skill sets is critical these days and XTM International is fully committed to supporting W.L.’s initiatives,” explained Dave Ruane, Digital Content and Partnership Manager at XTM International.

XTM International is excited to be part of the multiple events that Women in Localization will run in the coming year. XTM has been a keen advocate of local chapter events and will continue to support W.L. during the pandemic through its virtual events. XTM will also sponsor W.L.’s global community and get involved in the many inspiring discussions that are taking place. XTM International looks forward to collaborating with Women in Localization to spread a message of inclusion and diversity, as well as expanding mentorship and education initiatives.
