Freddie has extensive experience embedding content and localization strategies within large-scale consumer-facing enterprises, including previous leadership roles at Klarna, Condé Nast, and THE NET-A-PORTER GROUP.

Scott Suckow is Senior Director of Language Services at UCHealth, a leading university-affiliated health system with locations in Colorado, Wyoming and Nebraska. In this capacity he oversees the delivery of language access services at the system’s 15 hospitals and 375 outpatient clinics. He leads a team of 105 staff, oversees a $21M budget, and manages the provision of 950K interpretation encounters annually. Mr Suckow earned a Masters in Healthcare Administration degree from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas. Additionally, he is board certified in healthcare management by the American College of Healthcare Executives, and recently served as President of the College’s Rocky Mountains Chapter. Prior to these roles, Mr Suckow served in the United States Air Force as a healthcare administrator for 23 years, culminating as Chief Administrative Officer for the Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center, the largest ambulatory care facility in the Department of Defense. During his time in the military, he worked closely with interpreters at locations in Southwest Asia, Central Asia and Europe. Although not an interpreter, Mr Suckow studied languages at the undergraduate level, and has held a life-long passion for exploring languages and cultures around the globe.

Claire Pages is the Localisation Lead at Wise PLC, based out of their London office. As such, she manages the Localisation team and function at Wise and has been in this role for 2 years. Claire started her career in the Localisation industry on the vendor side at what used to be SDL International for nearly 9 years, before moving on to Expedia, where she was Director of Localization Programs and Tech, or more recently to Talkwalker where she founded the Localisation team from the ground up. The challenges in those various roles have been varied, but always revolved around the optimisation of resourcing, quality and costs via the right mix of people, tools and workflows.

Inés de la Iglesia is a globally-minded language professional with 7 years of experience in content strategy, translation management, and editorial projects. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Translation and Interpreting (EN-FR-IT>ES) and a Master's degree in Editing. Inés started her career as an in-house editor at a publishing house in Spain, where she honed her editing skills. In 2020, she moved to Switzerland and joined an HR tech company as a Translation Coordinator. There, she built the translation department from scratch, supporting operations in 29 languages across 77 countries. Dr Christopher Kurz holds a PhD in translation quality management from the University of Leipzig and a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt. He is the Head of Translation Management at ENERCON, a leading global supplier of onshore wind turbines. Former positions include roles like technical lead translator, project manager and translation manager at SDL International (now RWS), BMW and Deutsche Bahn. Together with Jean-Marc Dalla-Zuanna, he is the co-editor of Translation Quality in the Age of Digital Transformation. Christopher has been part of ISO TC 37/SC 5/Working Group 1 Translation since 2011 and has been involved in the development of the ISO 17100, ISO 11669 and ISO 18587 standards. Chloe joined Clarivate in 2021 to centralise translation operations, drive cost-savings and improve efficiencies; bringing in translation industry best practices and expertise to enhance data quality and intelligence in IP and STEM content in over 40 language pairs. Chloe blends internally and externally developed NMT, ML and AI technologies to optimise processes and outcomes, minimise waste and maximise returns to internal and external customers. Iris Orriss is the Vice President of Global Experience at Meta. She oversees several departments with an international and user experience focus; among those are Internationalization, International Marketing, and Global Response, the latter is a team that ensures a unified approach to international elections and other critical international events across Meta’s platforms. Her work mainly focuses on making Meta products successful outside of North America. She is a native of Germany, speaks four languages, and was educated at Freie Universität Berlin.

Julia Cassidy has been in the localization industry for over 16 years and has held various roles at tech companies ranging from technical translator, machine translation specialist, language and process engineer to language quality and localization manager. She is passionate about building scalable localization programs that help companies connect and resonate with a global audience. Since 2021, Julia has been the head of localization at SurveyMonkey. She was also chapter manager of Women in Localization Ireland from 2021 to 2023.

Dierk has over 10 years of experience working in localization, project management, and product management. Focusing on linguistic work as well as localization technology, he has been working primarily on the client side, starting out in the games industry and transitioning into B2B software and tech.
