The nearly 80 senior language industry executives who gathered at the Dream Hotel Downtown for the first SlatorCon New York on October 12, 2017 were treated to seven 20-minute presentations by industry leaders.
The presentations examined key industry issues such as how to grow as a language service provider (LSP), how investors approach the industry, how corporate procurement shapes demand and what’s happening now in technology and neural machine translation (NMT).
In addition to highly relevant and thought-provoking presentations, SlatorCon provided ample time for networking both before the event, during the break as well as at the reception at Dream Hotel’s speakeasy-style Electric Room bar.
