David Lee is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Iyuno-SDI Group – the leading technology-driven media localization provider with the largest international footprint, providing dubbing, subtitling, and access services in any language. A trailblazer in innovation and AI technologies with grounded organizational values, Iyuno-SDI Group leverages significant investments in its people, operations and platforms to scale its product and service offerings.
Lee recently returned to the role of CEO to provide the focus, technical knowledge and market expertise to navigate the company forward during the impending acquisition of Los Angeles-based SDI Media. Prior, he held the role of Executive Chairman of the Board upon completion of the merger with BTI Studios in 2019.
Today, Iyuno-SDI Group operates 35 local facilities globally, spanning a network of fully owned local sites across 30 countries in Europe, Asia and The Americas – offering clients end-to-end solutions for broadcasters, all major film studios, OTT and streaming platforms.
Lee identifies the nature of media localization as a digital supply chain management business which is still highly labor intensive – which is why resource optimization, workflow automation and application of disruptive technologies such as machine translation and automatic speech recognition is crucial to cost effectiveness, quicker delivery times and better quality.
Under Lee’s leadership, the combined Iyuno-SDI Group will continue to accelerate its vision to be a technology leader providing innovative solutions to better streamline the growing complexity in meeting client needs, utilizing artificial intelligence-driven machine learning to serve the variation of different quality tiered projects or lead times that clients face.
