Stratus Video Interpreting Announces New Chief Financial Officer

Florida-based on-demand interpreter services provider Stratus Video Interpreting announced the appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer. Maureen Huber brings 20 years of experience to the CFO position, having served various Fortune 500 companies in top management roles.

Huber joins a company of over 500 employees that uses technological solutions to connect clients with interpreters in 175 spoken languages. She was most recently the Vice President of software development firm Rocket Software and is currently an Advisor to the Board of Directors of child welfare agency Vista Maria.

Stratus Video Interpreting President David Fetterolf lauds Huber’s track record, saying “Her international experience serving Fortune 500 customers and governmental agencies parlays well with Stratus’ goals and applications.”

Huber’s appointment to the CFO position at Stratus Video Interpreting comes just months after the company welcomed Dr. Glenn Steele Jr. to their Board of Directors. The former President and CEO of Geisinger Health System Foundation, Dr. Steele had once been named one of the “top 100 most influential people in healthcare” in 2013.

These recent appointments may be indicative of Stratus Video Interpreting’s growth, as the company has predicted one of its core competencies — video remote interpreting in healthcare — will become a $1 billion market by 2016. The company is in fact adding more people in top management roles, as they are currently looking for a Director of Human Resources.

Stratus Video’s announcement closely follows the September 8 announcement of InDemand Interpreting’s own new CFO, Bob Nakahara.
