The US government has awarded 4,005 contracts on translation and interpretation worthed a total of just over USD 100m for the first four months of FY 2018. Law enforcement and military related spending continues to be the biggest spenders.
The US government’s translation and interpretation spend for 2017 has reached over half a billion US Dollars so far, already outstripping 2016 spending. Over 77% of spending went to just 20 companies.
