London, 17 September 2020 – GlobaLexicon, leader in market research and healthcare translation and language services, has today announced a 30% growth in revenue, the hiring of over 20 new team members, and the launch of new client service offerings.
The first six months of its financial year was marked by a strong uptick in volume from current clients in addition to several new, high-profile client wins. Clients continue to gravitate towards its high-quality, service-oriented, and consultative approach to translation and language services and appreciate the value its considerable scale brings them.
Global staff numbers have increased to 106, driving a programme of remote new hire on-boarding during the pandemic which has highlighted GlobaLexicon’s team working ethos. New hires have been across all teams including its specialist market research teams which continue to grow as clients outsource key language service tasks to them.
Daniela Toledo, Managing Director, comments: “Our team’s continued focus on high quality and consultative service, particularly during this challenging period, continues to pay off and we are proud of the trust our clients place in GlobaLexicon as they continue to increase their spend with us.”
New services launched over the past six months include a refined set of machine learning enabled translation solutions and a social media listening offering. In addition, other service offerings such as subtitling, voice-over, in-language coding, and link-check have continued to advance in sophistication and popularity.
“The team has worked extremely hard over the past two quarters and we have continued to push forward our client-focused initiatives. Staff well-being has of course been a priority and we have completed significant upgrades to our London, Seville, and Chicago offices, giving the team brand new spaces to feel proud of returning to,” adds Kristian Smith, Strategy & Finance Director.
