Strong Performance Across All Divisions Boosts Company-Wide Revenues Nearly 20% Over Prior Year
NEW YORK, NY, July 16, 2018 – TransPerfect, the world’s largest provider of language and technology solutions for global business, announced today that billed revenue for the first half of 2018 topped $337 million, which represents nearly 20% growth over its $282 million total for the same period in 2017.
Setting single-month billing records in May and then raising that mark again in June—with $61 million and $62 million respectively—Q2 2018 was the largest quarter in company history, with revenues of over $182 million. In addition to the company’s record-breaking top-line revenue growth, TransPerfect has also created approximately 200 new jobs so far in 2018, jump-started its M&A program with the acquisition of TranslateNow, and bolstered its 100-office global footprint with new operations in Shenzhen, China.
GlobalLink, the company’s flagship suite of technology products, continued its industry dominance by adding more than 250 new customers. This rise underscores the continued trend of businesses relying on best-practice technology to manage global content and centralize workflows enterprise-wide for maximum cost and time efficiencies.
