Two LSPs Make the Cut in New York Law Journal 2015 Reader Rankings

The New York Law Journal has released its 2015 Reader Rankings Survey, where it listed two language service providers (LSPs) chosen by their readers in the Best Foreign Language Translation Service Provider, Best Foreign Language Translation Software, and Best eDiscovery Processing Provider categories. The annual survey consists of over 90 categories in areas including research, accounting, technology, insurance, education, financial services, and litigation support. Respondents were able to vote via online ballot. Across these categories, voters could choose from over 800 companies, 500 of which were listed by the New York Law Journal online and 300 were suggested by readers.

In both the categories of Best Foreign Language Translation Service Provider and Best Foreign Language Translation Software, TransPerfect Translations bagged first place followed by TransLingua in second. TransPerfect Legal Solutions nabbed second place in the Best eDiscovery Processing category, falling behind the Symantec eDiscovery Platform powered by Clearwell.

New York-based TransPerfect operates several vertical specific solutions, including TransPerfect Legal Solutions. TransLingua, also headquartered in New York, specializes in the corporate, legal, and marketing spaces. The company is the result of a merger between The Language Lab and Language Matters.
