XTRF Gets 2021 off to a Flying Start

In spite of the ongoing global pandemic, Krakow-based firm XTRF have succeeded in getting their 2021 off to a great start. The developers of the highly-competitive translation management platform have not only succeeded in bolstering their business strategy through the foundation of the Wise People Board, they’ve also organized a number of virtual events.

The Summit #online focused specifically on giving companies a helping hand in terms of extreme change, and featured fresh perspectives on issues including managing remote teams and optimizing workflows from leading experts. Having attracted around 150 attendees from across the world, the afternoon-long event also included networking sessions and round table discussions.

Meanwhile, the language industry leaders of tomorrow took center stage at the Summit #University. XTRF’s first education-centered event proved to be another roaring success with teachers and students from across the globe receiving hands-on advice from some of the biggest names in the sector. What’s more, the teachers in attendance were presented with actionable ways in which to introduce technology into their translation classrooms, therefore better preparing the linguists of tomorrow for the world of work.

In addition to events, the first six months of 2021 also brought about big changes in terms of the translation platform itself. With the release of XTRF 9.0 in late March, the company introduced improved CAT tool support, single sign-on features, and 7z and ZIP file previews to their already highly popular software.

With the world health situation continuing to improve across Europe, the company feels sure that the second half of 2021 will be even more successful than the first.
